PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Hello MAA Members,

Well, another successful and awesome MAA Annual Conference has come and gone. We had a great venue in Starkville and with that, back to our great attendance (more than 200). We had a strong lineup of speakers and programs that were both informative and entertaining. Our sponsors and vendors were, as usual, professional, courteous and patient with us! Our opening reception offered a wonderful time to mingle, and our Airbus Helicopters plant tour was enjoyed by all. I want to personally thank Kathy Kenne and her crew for once again putting on a top-notch event. We look forward to great things in Meridian next year.

I would also like to thank Clay Williams and a select group of members who will be working this fall to create our first “Aviation Day at the Capitol.” We hope this will allow the Association to better posture ourselves for future legislation and funding for airports. More to follow as we move forward.

It was a pleasure to see each of you at the Conference, and I look forward to another great year as your President. The best to each of you, and Happy Holidays ahead!
