Greetings, my fellow aviation professionals.

It is such a great honor to again be your President. I thank each of you for your support as we move forward as the best association in the state.

As I have assessed the organization, I find that past leadership, through the pandemic, has done a wonderful job of keeping the association solid. They are to be commended. As always, we are fortunate to have Kathy and Kirsten managing our association.

I thank all who participated in our “May is Aviation Month in Mississippi”. I felt it important, as we come out of the pandemic, that we continue to promote the importance of aviation in our state.

As we move forward in the year, I would like to see a push for membership in the association and participation in our annual conference. Please take every opportunity to reach out to your fellow airport directors and aviation-related businesses and encourage them to be a part of a professional and dynamic organization. Our Vice President, Wes Kirkpatrick, has put together a great recruiting letter you can personalize to send to prospective members – simply adjust the names and dates before using.
