In Memory of Elton Jay
Elton Jay, long time MAA board member and mentor to so many in our organization, passed away on January 26. He was the former State Aeronautics Director, following a long career at the FAA.
Elton’s wisdom and encouraging manner endeared him to all. He was a true leader in Mississippi aviation and inspired everyone in our industry to act with the same integrity, caring and discernment that guided his life. We will miss that hallmark mischievous twinkle in his eye and his charming smile and the depth of character that laid beneath.
