Dowell Named to Contract Tower Board

Matt Dowell, A.A.E., Executive Director of the Golden Triangle Regional Airport, was recently appointed to the U.S. Contract Tower Association (USCTA) Policy Board. The USCTA was created by the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) to promote the FAA’s Contract Tower Program and to enhance aviation safety at smaller airports. It coordinates contract tower issues with Congress and federal agencies.

“I am thankful for the chance to serve on the Policy Board of the U.S. Contract Tower Association and help advance the FAA’s Contract Tower Program for improved airport safety,” comments Dowell.

Dowell was one of four new board members approved by the AAAE Board of Directors at the Association’s National Airports Conference held earlier this month in Spokane, WA.
